How to make a non-alcoholic mulled wine

Mulled wine is a great way to enjoy the flavors of the season without the alcohol. This recipe uses 100% juice, so it’s family-friendly, too!

Ingredients:

1 (32 ounce) bottle 100% apple juice

1 cup cranberry juice

1/2 cup honey

1 orange, zested and juiced

1 lemon, zested and juiced

6 cloves

3 cinnamon sticks

1 star anise

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:

1. In a large pot, combine the apple juice, cranberry juice, honey, orange juice and lemon juice.

2. Add the cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise and nutmeg.

3. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a simmer.

4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.

5. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

How to make mulled wine in minutes

Ingredients

1 bottle red wine
4-6 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
1 orange, zested and juiced
1/4 cup honey

Instructions

1. In a saucepan, combine all of the ingredients except for the honey.

2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer.

3. Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
